Whether you need this depends heavily on your branch and teacher. Talk to a senior from your branch before buying. Mostly needed for Engineering Graphics / Drawing classes.

Used alongside the drafter for Engineering Graphics. Ask a senior in your branch, you may be able to borrow one or get a second-hand board at a fraction of the price.
